                               Investment Industry Experience  
 

Steve as more than 30 years experience in general financial management, corporate development, strategic planning, corporate finance, and investment management. 

Since 2004, Steve has served as the Chief Compliance Officer of Commonwealth International Series Trust, a family of mutual funds based in Houston Texas. During this period , Commonwealth successfully concluded an SEC wells notice regarding possible market timing violations, conducted an RFP which ultimately led to the replacement of the Funds’ principal administrative service providers, and completed three annual compliance reports as called for by regulations. Recently completed a routine SEC exam without any deficiencies noted. 
 
Prior investment management experience included Chairing the Investment Committee for Gulf Oil’s Pension Committee. Steve served as Treasurer of Gulf Oil – US and Corporate Assistant Treasurer of Banking, Investments, and Foreign Exchange for the Corporation. In this capacity, Steve directed the Investment of multi billion dollar money market and fixed income portfolios and foreign exchange positions. As the Treasure of Citgo Petroleum, Steve served as Chairman of the Pension Committee which included defined benefit pensions and 401 k plans. At Westlake Chemical where Steve, as the VP of Business Development and Treasurer directed the Investment Activity of the corporate liquidity as well as serving as the principal financial officer on the firms Pension Committee.
 

Steve has an MBA from the University of Kentucky and is a member of the University of Phoenix’s faculty lecturing in finance and economics.
